Barney Wedding || Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Lawrence and Madison's stunning September wedding is hitting the blog! Finally! It took place at thee most gorgeous wedding venue, Settler's Creek in CDA, Idaho. I was only 6 weeks postpartum when I shot this I might add, so yes, I am extremely dedicated to my brides and grooms! There was NO WAY I was missing this regal affair. Madison is a friend of mine, and a lot of the attendants are good friends of mine so it was so much fun! Madison wore a absolutely STUNNING Essense of Australia gown from Honest in Ivory in Spokane. The girls got ready in the most adorable bridal suite with a full spread of the snacks and drinks. I've never seen a venue take care of their clients like that. Once Madi had hair and makeup done, we did a first look with her father. This first look absolutely slayed me. I've never seen a father, tall and composed turn to mush like that at the site of his little girl in her wedding gown. The whole family was watching and once they had their moment, they all were brought in for a giant bear hug. It was so precious.

Lawrence didn't see Madison until she walked down the aisle. You could just tell he was absolutely mesmerized. The vows were short and sweet and everyone flocked to the beer and wine for cocktail hour after while I shot the group and bridals. Through the whole day, I had to pinch myself. Everything was so beautiful and over the top. Elegant, regal, relaxed, and a photographer's DREAM wedding. There was so much to work with that even after some bride and groom shots, I dragged them away after dinner to take some sunset shots in the vineyard overlooking the guests.

The toasts happened after the sun went down. The silos glowed with a purple emblem of the couple's new shared last name entail. A nice touch that is thrown in with the venue. The bride and groom danced to "Adore You" by Miley Cyrus which is one of my all time favorite songs. Guests danced the night away, took fun photos in the photo camper, and drank an assortment of local beers and wine. At 10pm we sent the couple off with customized giant glow sticks and the couple went on their way to enjoy a fabulous honeymoon in Hawaii.

This is possibly my favorite wedding I've shot to date. Everything from the couple, the venue, to the details, to the energy, and the light. It was one I'll never forget. I am so grateful to LB and Madison is trusting me with their amazing wedding day. I hope you enjoy the story I've told below.
