Since it is now the slow season, I figured it would be a great time to catch up on blogging! July 13th, I photographed the gorgeous and rustic wedding of Ryan and Chelsea. Ryan's family owns the property that it was held on, in Cataldo, ID. Northern Idaho really holds a special place in my heart. It's old worldly, picturesque, and the people are so warm and welcoming.
It was your quintessential hot July day. The bride got ready in the cabin while the guys drank beer near the water. Everyone was super relaxed, but I could tell the bride was eager and anxious to see her groom. Every detail of Chelsea was perfect. She had an amazing beauty team and her dress was TO DIE FOR. The first look was really adorable and I could tell the nerves were instantly calmed when they saw each-other. The ceremony followed soon after. The bride walked past log posts with the couple's initials carved into them. The officiant that married Ryan's parents was their officiant and it was really special for everyone to see him marry off Ryan and Chelsea. The couple's son wore the cutest little sign, that was pinned to the back of his suit. (See photo) He definitely stole the show through out the night. After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed cocktail hour while I photographed the group. We were graced with the most beautiful light! Local BBQ and the reception followed and I don't think I've ever had better mac and cheese. After heartfelt toasts and hours of fun and dancing, everyone camped out on the property under a full moon. It was a gorgeous affair!
Jaime Johnson Events planned the whole thing. The details were amazing. Chelsea's absolutely stunning bohemian gown was from Maggie Sottero, purchased at Believe Bride in Spokane, WA. Flowers were from the amazing ladies at Dragon Flower Design, Hair and MUA was Cole Taylor Salon and Cakes and cupcakes were by The Cupcake Baker. The cake was hands down, thee most beautiful cake I have ever photographed. And tasted for that matter!
Congrats Mr and Mrs Beggerly!
