Beluga Point Bride Styled Shoot

I had this vision of this shoot, almost since I began photography professionally last summer. Originally I wanted to shoot at Virgin Falls in Girdwood and boy am I so happy that the muddy terrain was still around out there and we decided on Beluga Point instead. The sun was shining, and there was a fabulous light breeze that worked in our favor. I got my florals from the talented and oh so amazing Natasha at Paper Peony and a dress from Forever21. Chelsea drove a few hours just for this shoot which I am SO grateful for because you guys... it was amazing! The light was harsh that day and the sigma art 35mm I rented for this shoot was not fairing well in it. I'm not gonna lie I was in a bit of a panic. I threw on my new 50 1.4 lense and wah-lah, it was a go! Chelsea did her hair and makeup and makeup. (She is a seriously amazing makeup artist at that and feel free to check out her instagram @borealis_beauty.) She did her makeup in warm golden tones with a pretty crystal on the inner eye. Seriously this girl doesn't even need makeup she is so stunning!

It was a quick 45 minute shoot but these images will forever be some of my favorites I've ever taken. Serious magic was made at Beluga Point and I am so thankful for the amazing talents of Chelsea and Natasha. Enjoy!
