I have been trying to stay on top of blogging all my weddings this year right after I finish the galleries, on top of editing the 4 that are in my que right now and all my regular sessions. So bare with me ya'll.
This wedding: The Duke Wedding at Peone View in Spokane, WA. Sigh. It was a total dream. I first met Jayme and Mike last summer, when I was temporarily living in Spokane. We hit it off from our first consult. When they said oven cooked pizza, an ice cream truck, and a 80's inspired live band would be there... I WAS SOLD. The actual day turned out more magical than I could have hoped for. Peone View is the perfect place in the sought after Greenbluff area to hold an intimate and romantic wedding. Jayme and Mike did a first look before the ceremony and then some family photos with their son, Sully after. Sully and Mike wore matching outfits which were to die for! The wedding was centered around family, friends they have known their whole lives, and their love. During the ceremony, both bride and groom reflected on how they met at a Softball tournament years before, and how each of them were attracted to how kind and nurturing they were, not only in their careers paths but in their personalities. The guests dined on Veraci Pizza and a local ice cream truck, amazing orderves were served, and the wine and craft beers were flowing. An amazing live band played Journey, Bon Jovi, and so many 80's favorites! The groom also DJ'ed his own wedding! One of my favorite parts of the evening was watching the groom and his best friends sing and dance to Macklemore's "Downtown." It was a beautiful wedding, one I will never forget! I hope you all enjoy this one.
