Jake and Jen's wedding at Cascade Garden's in Yakima, WA was so so SO stunning! Jake is my brother's lifelong best friend and I have known this couple for forever. It was so amazing to not only witness their union but also photograph it! The girls got ready in the bridal suite while the guys drank beer out of their hand crafted baseball bat mugs that Jen had made for them. Jake and all of his groomsmen all played high-school and college baseball together. Jake actually coaches a high-school baseball team! It was cool how they incorporated Jake's love of baseball and the couple's love of hunting into the day.
The first look was held near a garden that looked like it came right out of the movie, A secret Garden. that or a Martha Stewart magazine. They were so excited to see one another. Jen stunning in a Maggie Sottero Gown from I Do Bridal in Seattle! Alexandra's on Second did her hair in the most classic up do and the best of the best: Hannah Bryan did the bride and bridesmaid's makeup!
The ceremony was held in the most beautiful grotto surrounded by willows and hydrangeas. My adorable niece Brooke was the flower girl. The ceremony officiant gave the most heartfelt speech about how the couple met, and how their love would carry them through out their life. It had a lot of people in tears, including myself. The vows were perfect. I don't think anyone had ever seen Jake cry so it really was special. You could clearly see how much they love each other. The guests cheered when they both kissed, we were all so excited for them!
