McKinney Elopement || Columbia Gorge

Jefri and Deborah's elopement is my first event of the year. This couple had plans for a wedding in Oregon which has been postponed til later due to COVID19 but they opted to elope where we had their engagement session! The Columbia Gorge is thee most perfect place for a desert bohemian elopement! It was the most gorgeous and windless day - which is rare for the gorge. They had their first look with their families and rock climbers un-looking and Deborah's dad gave her away in the most sweetest way - signing 'I love you' in ASL. He even did a Star Trek Lorelei sign, and yes there are photos below. They said their vows on top of a cliff overlooking the most gorgeous view with Deborah's brother as the officiant. Deborah's whole bridal look was to die for. She had a beautiful gown from Amy's Bridal in Kennewick paired with a hand painted calligraphy jacket from Anna Shabak. The words "Til Death do us Part' written beautifully on the back. YASSSSS! She had a gorgeous dried bouquet and flower crown from Etsy. Walking around the desert in a English lace gown was no easy feat but if your dress isn't dirty after eloping, you didn't do it right! The couple drove off in the bride's brother's Ford Mustang to join me in Moses Lake at a special burger joint called 'Woody's.' Back in November at their engagement session they inquired about a good food place and Woody's came to mind first. It's now a special place for them and I love that I was able to help with that! The couple dined on cheeseburgers and cereal milk milkshakes on the back of the 'stang and we got some adorable photos before sun set. Everything about this day was so awesome. Just because the wedding you planned is cancelled doesn't mean love is cancelled.
