Carlos and Adrianna got married on a beautiful summer day in mid September, in the old Catholic church in which I used to go to, on the grounds of the private Catholic school I attended from 1997-2003. When she said the venue on our phone consult, I was still living in Alaska and I was absolutely giddy at the thought of photographing a wedding at my old school/church. I felt like life was coming full circle, which is a really cool, deja vu feeling.
Their wedding spared no expense as far as glamour. Her dress had the most beautiful lace and beaded bodice with delicate tulle in princess shape flowing from it. Her bouquet was filled with gorgeous blush roses with white hydrangeas. The groom first saw his bride as she walked down the aisle. The church ceremony was in Spanish and had a live mariachi band that also was present for the reception dinner. During the ceremony, they were wrapped in a beautiful crystal rosary for their vows and traditions were very important through out the whole thing. It was very beautiful. Pink silk and tulle streamers filled the reception hall, in the center of the hall was a giant crystal chandelier. Live music played from 2 different bands and delicious Mexican Food catered. Love. family, and laughter were the center of the evening. They celebrated the bride and groom with such joy. It was a beautiful evening.
