ENSIGN PHOTOGRAPHY

I'm Kate Ensign 

I'm a 30 something year old, desert dwelling mama to three little ones and wife to my high-school sweetheart, Mark. We got married as crazy teenagers and our wedding looked MUCH different than the ones I shoot: Courthouse, my mom made our cake from a $2 Betty Crocker mix and my photos came from a disposable camera. But you know what? I LOVE them and my passion for photography is rooted deeply from that day.

When I'm not wrangling my wild kids, you can find me antique shopping or cuddled up with my cats, a cup of coffee and a good book. I love being in the outdoors; whether it's hiking, fishing, or snowboarding. I have seen all seasons of 'The Office' 8x and I make a mean margarita. Orcas are my favorite animal, and I am an Aquarius through and through.

   With over 7 years' experience in the photography and wedding industry and over 100 weddings photographed, rest assured your memories are in safe hands with me. No awkward posing. I will guide you through the session with prompts and laughs. I want to hear your stories and capture the realness of you and your relationships. My number one goal is to make you feel comfortable and beautiful in front of my lense and give you photos that don't look like anyone else's.
