MEET THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Hey, I'm Kate Ensign!
I'm a millennial mama of three and wife to my high-school sweetheart, Mark. We got married in 2006 as crazy teenagers and our wedding looked much different than the ones I shoot: courthouse wedding on NYE with a crooked Betty Crocker in-a-box cake. I wouldn't trade it for the world though and my passion for wedding photography is rooted deeply from that day. I have lived in 5 states (OR, WA, SD, CO & AK) and currently reside in a small town in central WA. I love the PNW, the ocean and Led Zeppelin. I love making people smile and laugh, even if it's at my own expense. I've seen Pride and Prejudice so many times it's engraved on my soul. When I'm not taking pics or wrangling my children, I love to curl up on my couch with my cats and read a good romance or sci-fi novel.

2. I have 20 tattoos. My favorite one being a memorial piece of my dog, Ralph.

4. I am a huge movie fanatic. Favorites include: Pride & Prejudice, Hook, Little Women, Heat, Ever After, Iron Giant, Song of the Sea, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind & Hamnet.

5. If I wasn't a photographer, I'd be an interior designer.
